Privacy policy
How we handle the data of visitors to eqbmilano.it. In short: this site doesn't use profiling cookies or analytics tools; the messages and applications you send us arrive by email and our team's internal WhatsApp.

What data we process and why
1. Browsing data
The site runs on a server in the European Union (Hetzner infrastructure, Germany) behind Cloudflare, which acts as a proxy and content delivery network: both log technical data (IP address, request time, page visited) necessary for the operation and security of the service. Legal basis: the Data Controller's legitimate interest in the site's correct operation (Art. 6.1.f GDPR). Cloudflare operates a global network: any transfers outside the EU take place based on the safeguards required by the GDPR (standard contractual clauses).
2. Usage statistics
The site doesn't use any analytics or statistics service (not Google Analytics, not Vercel Analytics, nor any other): we don't measure traffic and we don't profile site visitors.
3. Contact and Companies
The forms on the Contact and Companies pages prepare a WhatsApp or email message ready on your device: you decide whether to send it. At the same time, the name and message you write are also sent as a copy to our servers, so the request reaches us even if you don't complete sending it from your WhatsApp or email: this copy is forwarded to our email address [email protected] and to our team's internal WhatsApp group. If you contact us directly by phone, email or WhatsApp, the data you provide (name, contact details, message content) is used only to reply to you and handle your request. Legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures requested by the data subject (Art. 6.1.b GDPR). We keep these communications for as long as necessary to handle the request and any resulting obligations.
4. Applying to work with EQB
The Application form collects professional category, clients you already work with, expected weekly appointments, expectations, timing, a short introduction, first and last name, phone and/or email, and optionally Instagram, personal website and a résumé in PDF (max 8MB). Unlike the Contact and Companies forms, here submission is single and direct: the data (including the résumé, if attached) is sent to our email address [email protected] and a brief notification (name and contact details) is sent to our team's internal WhatsApp group, so we can review the application. Legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures requested by the data subject (Art. 6.1.b GDPR). We keep the application and résumé for as long as necessary to review it; if it doesn't lead to a collaboration, we delete them within 12 months of submission.
5. Google Maps
The Contact page includes a Google Maps map that loads together with the page. Through this map, Google may set its own cookies and process data according to its privacy policy.
Cookies
The site doesn't use profiling cookies or third-party analytics cookies. The only cookies present are technical ones, necessary for operation, and those from Google Maps, loaded together with the map on the Contact page (see above).
Data disclosure
Data is never sold or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes. It may be accessed by: our internal EQB team (in the dedicated WhatsApp group, to handle requests in real time), our administrative email address [email protected] and the technical providers that supply our infrastructure (Hetzner hosting, Cloudflare as proxy/CDN), appointed as data processors where necessary.
Your rights
Under Articles 15-22 GDPR, you may at any time request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, or object to processing. Just write to [email protected]. If you believe the processing violates the regulation, you can file a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority.
